(BBT) to publish and print over 100,000 copies of the book. This
book is still being used extensively for presenting Krishna
consciousness to students at colleges and universities
throughout the world and over a quarter million copies have been
printed to date. For this purpose it has been translated into many
different languages.
Srila Prabhupada also instructed Maharaja to publish the
Journal of the Bhaktivedanta Institute, Savijnanam. The first issue of the journal was

on November 8, 2002. The title Savijnanam was given by Srila
Prabhupada and was inspired by the Bhagavad-gita Verse 7.2:

idaà vakñyämy açeñataù
yaj jïätvä neha bhüyo ’nyaj
jïätavyam avaçiñyate
