In 1995, Maharaja opened the ISKCON Nature Cure and Yogic Hospital for providing healthcare for both the public and
the devotee community. The facility is located approximately 8 kilometers from the city of Imphal in a serene forest like setting at the base of the Langol Foothills.
Over the years, Maharaja has invited many friends from around the world to Manipur, including a number of dignitaries
and prominent personalities. They all have come to lend their support and give encouragement for building the University project as well as experience the Vaishnava culture of Manipur. Amongst the personalities who have visited Manipur at Maharaja’s request were, four famous Indian artists, Asha Bhonsale, R.D. Burman, Anup Jalota and Hema Malini. They all offered their artistic talents by providing cultural presentations to assist in fundraising for the University of Bhagavata Culture.
